Having trained at university with world-renowned expert in ASD, Professor Tony Attwood, and attended a number of observations at Professor Attwood's clinic, Clinical Psychologist, Frances Occhipinti is a specialist in this area. An assessment at Mindpath can also differentiate between ASD and other challenges your child may be experiencing, such as anxiety, learning issues or ADHD. 
A diagnosis can be beneficial in having a better understanding of your child or adolescent and enabling the development of tailored support plans. We take a strengths-based approach to our assessments and develop a profile of your child’s strengths, learning needs and differences. 
Our assessments use gold standard assessment instruments and our reports incorporate recommendations with strength-based interventions. Additionally, we provide comprehensive assessments for autism and giftedness (twice exceptional).
